The short version
- Find the same retreat for less somewhere else, and we refund you the difference.
- Same retreat, same dates, same room, same number of guests, a price anyone can book.
- Tell us within 48 hours of booking, and at least 14 days before the retreat starts.
- We refund the difference to your original card within 10 business days of approving your claim.
This guarantee is a promise from Alma Escapes. It sits alongside our Terms of Service and our Cancellation & Refund Policy, and doesn’t change either of them.
1. What counts as a lower price
Your claim qualifies when all of these are true:
- The same retreat. Same Host, same programme, same dates (or the same arrival date and length for flexible-date programmes), same room type and the same number of guests.
- A price anyone can book. Publicly available without a login, membership, promo code, loyalty discount, group or corporate rate, or a package that includes flights.
- The total price. We compare the full amount you would pay there, including any fees that site adds at checkout, with what you paid us. If it is in another currency, we convert it at that day’s rate.
- On time. You tell us within 48 hours of booking on Alma Escapes, and at least 14 days before the retreat starts.
- Still available. The lower price can still be booked when we check it.
2. How to claim
Email [email protected] with your booking number, a link to the lower price, and a screenshot showing the price, the dates and the room type. One claim per booking.
3. What happens next
We check the price within 2 business days. If your claim qualifies, we refund the difference to the card you paid with within 10 business days of approving it. Your booking stays exactly as it is. If it doesn’t qualify, we tell you why.
4. Who pays for it
We do. The refund comes out of our own commission, never out of your retreat. Our Hosts agree not to list their retreats for more on Alma Escapes than on their own website or other platforms, so lower prices elsewhere should be rare.
5. Not covered
- Prices that need a code, a membership, a login or a special group rate.
- Last-minute offers made within 14 days of the start date.
- Bookings paid outside Alma Escapes.
- Differences caused only by your bank’s exchange rate or card fees.
- Plant medicine or any other cost a listing says is arranged separately with the Host.
